I have been on this site for a long time now and I honestly just dont like it. I joined because my friends were on here and said it was better than DA and well...its definitely not. My art gets literally NO attention on here like it does on DA.
Here are the things negative about SA...
My work gets no attention.
I barely have any friends.
Its boring.
The majority of the art sucks.
People dont give constructive criticism.
You cant sell your art.
Here are the positive things about SA...
The people are very nice.
You can upload audio art.
Here are the negative things about DA...
They can use your art without permission.
There are a lot of certain artists that get more attention.
There are very elitist artists.
You cant upload audio art.
Here are the positive things about DA...
My art/cosplay photos/writings/etc get a lot of attention.
I have many friends.
I have many watchers [subscribers].
I get a lot of pointers/ideas/help.
There are many different good types of artwork.
People give out good, constructive criticism.
There are more options.
You can sell your art.
So yea, there you have it. DA is far better [IMO] than SA. So with that I will be leaving SA. Sorry to everyone who wants me to stay. I hope everyone who likes it here keeps having fun and keeps getting their art out!
